Quick locate: Shop > Settings > Coupon Management

Coupons are a great way of offering discounts to certain customers. Coupons can be managed in the Coupon Management shop settings area of the CMS and redeemed at the checkout by the customer.

Setting Coupons

You can easily generate coupon codes in the admin area with an associated discount and expiry.

Click on the "Shop" tab from the main navigation menu. Notice at the top of the page there are 3 tabs and the “Orders” tab is selected by default. Click “Settings” and then the green "Edit Coupons" in the Coupon Management box. 

1. Click the green "Add Coupon" button
2. Give your discount/coupon a title. Note: this is only for your reference, handy for differentiating discounts or coupon campaigns and will not be visible to the customer.
3. Make it active immediately or remember to check the Active box when you're ready for customers to apply.
4. Set the discount type (percentage or fixed amount) and apply the discount as a number. Please be mindful when applying discounts that if the discount is not greater than the Nett rate for the product.
5. "Apply To" is probably the most tricky decision you'll have to make. 
6. The next checkbox "Coupon only works if all products in cart are in the set of allowed products" means that if a customer has added a product which does not have a discount applied, the coupon will not work. Check this box if your discount has been applied to the order subtotal, which was set in the previous step.
